How to Start Learning Italian
How to Start Learning Italian is a guide made for total beginners of the Italian language who are as equally excited about learning as they are confused about how to become conversational.
It’s full of useful pieces of advice, tips on resources, and suggestions for making the most out of your studies as an independent learner.
Questions I answer in the guide:
- Can you really learn Italian?
- When will you start thinking in Italian?
- How can you stay consistent with learning?
- What resources should you buy and use?
- How do you learn pronunciation?
- How do you set goals?
- How long will it take before you’re no longer a beginner?
- What study activities should you do every day?
- What’s a language island and how will they help you improve your speaking skills?
BUT WAIT (big smile), there’s more.
You’ll also get a:
- 30-day study calendar with articles and podcast episodes from the website to help you have your first, second, or third conversation
Digital PDF (38 pages): Download it and read it on your computer, tablet or smartphone. Print it out and write all over it. :)
You’ll pay through a secure, encrypted site called Shopify and you can use any major credit or debit card. You’ll see ICEBERGPROJ on your statement.
How will I download the guide?
Once you pay, you’ll be redirected to a page where you can download the guide in PDF format. You’ll also be sent an email (along with your receipt) with the same link to download. And if for some reason the technology gods are not on my or your side throughout this transaction, you can always write me at email@example.com and I’ll make sure you get what you paid for.
What if I’m no longer a beginner? Do the tips still apply to me?
Yep, the beauty about learning how to learn is that it can help you at any level. If you’re already versed in concepts like creating a digital flash card system, building language islands, creating a study schedule, and how to set identity-based goals, you’ll want to skip it though. And then email me so we can be nerdy together about all of the stuff I just listed.
Can I return it if I don’t like it?
Unfortunately, this product has a zero-return policy. It’s not because I don’t love you and think you’re awesome, I promise. If you’re unsure about the purchase, take a moment to read my other blog posts and listen to some podcast episodes. If you don’t feel good about it, don’t buy it.
What if I have a question that you don’t answer in the guide?
I’m an open book. All you have to do is email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll get back to you in 2-3 days.
Wait, wasn’t there a podcast episode about this?
First, you’ve been hanging out with me long enough to remember those episodes, I’m blushing. Second, yep. It used to be a podcast series + article resource, but it turns out that putting into a guide format makes it more likely for people to use it. And that’s my whole goal really. I want you to use this and benefit from it.
